Project Summary

BIOSYMPHONY: THE HEART

A Biofeedback Performance System Translating Human Physiology into Generative Audiovisual Environments

BioSymphony is an interdisciplinary research and performance project investigating how internal physiological states can function as compositional material.

The current phase, BioSymphony: The Heart, translates heart rate variability (HRV), respiration, and embodied movement into real-time generative sound and visual environments.

The project renders normally invisible biological processes perceptible, transforming physiological activity into immersive environments that can be seen, heard, and experienced.

Positioned between performance, biofeedback, creative coding, and embodied research, BioSymphony explores new relationships between rhythm, perception, emotion, and human-machine interaction.
