The right lineup is the one that fits your room, your guest count and the moments you want live music for. Latin Moon performs in three sizes, all with the same sound: Latin American and Caribbean rhythms meeting jazz, bossa nova, soul and pop. Most events start from the trio, Latin Moon’s signature lineup and the full Latin Moon experience.
The three formats
| Format | Lineup | Often a fit for |
|---|---|---|
| Trio (signature) | Piano and vocals, percussion, saxophone and flute | The full Latin Moon experience: cocktail receptions, dinners, weddings and galas |
| Expanded ensemble | The trio plus bass or guitar | Larger rooms, galas, and evenings that move from dinner into dancing |
| Duo | Piano and vocals, percussion | Very intimate settings and smaller rooms |
Carolina Kohn · vocals & keys
Mila Tina · percussion
Julie Bluestone · sax & fluteMeet the signature trio
- Carolina Kohn, vocals and piano. Born in New York, raised in Uruguay and shaped in France, Carolina grew up surrounded by the sounds of the world and brings a velvet voice and jazzy keys to every set. Offstage she is also a comedian and writer.
- Julie Bluestone, saxophone and flute. New York born and raised, Julie moves between saxophone and flute, blending jazz, Latin rhythms and fearless improvisation.
- Mila Tina, percussion. Chilean-born and the heartbeat of Latin Moon, Mila weaves Latin, Caribbean and global grooves that get everyone dancing.
Three questions that decide it
- How big is the room, and how many guests? A fuller lineup carries better in a large or busy room.
- What should the music do? Atmosphere during dinner calls for a different shape than a dance floor after dessert. Many events want both.
- Which moments matter most? A cocktail hour, a first dance, a toast, a late set. Tell us which ones you want live, and the proposal builds the lineup around them.
One evening, several moods
Repertoire is curated around the progression of your event. Latin Moon’s music menus include Latin & World, Cocktail & Dinner, Soul, Jazz & Groove, Pop Reimagined, and Upbeat / After Dinner. A set can open with “Bésame Mucho” over dinner and end with “Valerie” once the room starts to move. See the music menus.

Can we start with a duo and add musicians later in the evening?
Yes. A performance can start smaller and grow as the evening builds. For the full experience, most events book the trio, Latin Moon’s signature lineup, or the expanded ensemble from the start.
Not sure which format fits?
Choose “I’m not sure yet” on the inquiry form. Latin Moon recommends the lineup in your proposal.
