Mila Tina is an internationally performing percussionist, performer, and interdisciplinary artist whose work places rhythm at the center of the live experience.
Born and raised in Chile and based in New York, she blends acoustic and electronic percussion, movement, electronic sound, and visual elements in performances that move between concert, spectacle, and interdisciplinary performance. Her practice approaches rhythm as a structural language: a way of organizing sound, physical movement, attention, and collective experience. BioSymphony is Mila Tina’s developing bio-kinetic performance system, exploring how physiological rhythms can influence sound and visual environments in real time. Heart activity, HRV, movement, and other biosignals become inputs within a responsive system, connecting the internal rhythms of the body with sound, generative visuals, and the surrounding environment.
